The state that refuses

Washington. Every brand in the guide declines registrations there and none is quietly working around the ban. State law on online play is harsher than anywhere else in the country and operators have judged the exposure not worth carrying. The account will not open.

The four that vary

Idaho, Michigan, Montana and Nevada get decided brand by brand, as internal policy rather than statute. One accepts you and the next declines. Where a brand publishes its exclusions the guide records them, but only the rulebook settles it.

The remainder

Broadly available with age as the gate. Eighteen is standard and a few brands hold out for twenty-one whatever local law permits, so confirm which before completing a form rather than afterwards.

How location gets checked

Geolocation fires at registration and again at withdrawal. Routing around it with a VPN breaks the terms at every brand in this guide, and the usual result is a closed account with the balance stranded inside. Stranded balances are not paid out.

A necessary caveat

We measure cashiers rather than practise law, and promotional statute shifts. Orient from this page and decide from the brand rulebook. An operator accepting your registration has already formed the only opinion that carries weight.
